The Power of a Story
The Dear Society Project was created to uplift youth voices and get their stories heard across multiple generations. This project is a collection of peoples emotions and own experiences. They show the impact society has had on shaping this generation by using art and individual stories. These stories are special...they should inspire, connect and implore us to act. They are a catalyst for change. We believe that people's stories can change the world.

There is fear in what we don't understand and that fear often can turn into hate, judgement and rage. The history of the human race has displayed many examples of that. But through education we can create understanding in which our fear will disappear. Fear will turn into appreciation for all of our differences. Differences that should be celebrated and respected. This is why The Dear Society Project was created. To turn fear into love.
As you read these stories I implore you to open your mind to how other people live and you might find that everyone just wants to be loved and accepted by the society they grew up in.
